UTSA -6.5: the current forecast favors the Roadrunners

South Florida at UTSA starts at 6:30 p.m. Central. SE v3.0 projects UTSA 31.9, South Florida 21.3, a margin of about 10.6. Against UTSA -6.5, that leaves a 4.1-point model gap toward the Roadrunners. UTSA needs a seven-point win to cover this line.

The calculation is important: a projected UTSA win by 10.6 supports UTSA at this spread. It does not support South Florida +6.5 on a positive margin-gap argument. The earlier South Florida selection came from a different model snapshot and is not tonight's current pick.

Are tonight's picks “locks”?

No bet is a guaranteed win. These three selections lead the card because their projected margins differ from the saved sportsbook lines, under the site's model-edge publication policy. A gap measured in points is not a validated probability of covering and is not proof of positive expected value.

In fact, the saved probability-based EV estimates for all three selections are negative, and betting calibration remains unvalidated.
